Family Life Studies Degree Now Available

Oct 28, 2008

The Department of Family, Consumer, and Human Development offers online coursework leading to a bachelor’s degree in Family Life Studies. The new degree was approved by the Board of Regents at a meeting on October 24th.

This online program will prepare students for successful careers serving individuals and families across the life span and to help students achieve fulfilling family relationships in their own lives. Students study how human development, family relationships, family economics, and consumer issues affect the individual and the family. The courses are designed to help students develop the necessary skills to deal professionally with current issues confronting families and children in the nation and world.

The online structure of the program allows students to complete the program at a pace they are comfortable with, taking as many or as few credits each semester as their schedule allows. For more information on the program, or to see admission and course requirements, click here.
