Admissions

Freshman students may be directly admitted into the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business with a 3.5 high school GPA and a 24 composite ACT score. All other students may apply to the Huntsman School of Business upon completion of 24 post high school credits with a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Admission to the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business also requires a Huntsman School of Business academic agreement. The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business prepares graduates for administrative positions in business, government, and other institutions. The program provides a variety of courses in fundamental areas of business, such as accounting, finance, economics, marketing, management, and management information systems. Courses are offered weeknights via interactive broadcast, online, or independent study to enable working students to earn their degrees. Beyond these fundamental courses, students complete an additional 18 credits toward an emphasis in accounting, management, or management information systems.
